We process personal data in line with the Icelandic Act on Data Protection and the Processing of Personal Data no. 90/2018 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

When you book or send a booking request we collect your name, email address, phone number, country, dates, number of adults and children, estimated arrival time, price and any message you choose to include. No card details are collected on this website.

We use this information only to handle your booking: to check availability, confirm the booking, contact you and manage your stay.

Processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Your consent in the form confirms you have read this policy.

Unconfirmed bookings and booking requests are deleted after 12 months. Confirmed bookings are kept as long as required by law, for example the Icelandic accounting act.

We never sell your data. It is stored with our hosting and database provider, who processes it on our behalf only.

You have the right to access, correct and request deletion of your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact kla@kla.is.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Icelandic Data Protection Authority, Persónuvernd — personuvernd.is.

This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. We store only your language choice (English or Icelandic) in your browser's local storage, which is necessary for the site to remember your preference.
